Hi friends,

Have you ever felt spiritually exhausted?

Like you’re trying so hard to stay encouraged…
to stay faithful…
to keep your thoughts in the right place…

but the battle just feels constant?

Sometimes we forget that we were never meant to fight this battle in our own strength.

And honestly?
That’s a good thing.

The enemy wants you to feel powerless

One of the enemy’s greatest lies is convincing us that we are weak, defeated, and alone.

He wants us to believe:

  • “You’ll never overcome this.”
  • “You’re stuck this way.”
  • “You don’t have what it takes.”

But those thoughts don’t reflect what God says about you.

What Scripture reminds us

If you take time to read Luke 4:5–6, you’ll see that Satan tried to tempt Jesus by offering power and authority.

But Jesus already knew something the enemy hoped He would forget:

True authority comes from God.

And through Christ, we are no longer helpless in this battle.

Christ already won the victory

One of the most comforting truths in Scripture is this:

Jesus already defeated the enemy.

The cross wasn’t just forgiveness for sin—
it was victory.

If you read 1 John 3:8, it tells us that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil.

And because of Him, we don’t fight for victory…

We fight from victory.

What that means for us

It means:

  • You don’t have to believe every fearful thought
  • You don’t have to stay trapped in old patterns
  • You don’t have to live defeated

Because God has given you His Spirit, His truth, and His authority.

Walking in that authority

Walking in God’s authority doesn’t mean we never struggle.

It means we stop agreeing with the lies.

It means we begin responding with truth instead of fear.

And sometimes it simply looks like whispering:

“God, I trust what You say more than what I feel right now.”

Reflection

Take a quiet moment today and ask yourself:

  • What lie have I been believing about myself?
  • What would change if I truly believed God had already given me victory?

Encouragement

Friend, you are not abandoned in this battle.

You are loved.
You are covered by grace.
And you are stronger in Christ than you realize.

Even on the days when the battle feels heavy…

You are never fighting alone.
