Hi friends,
As we've walked through this series together, one truth has continued to stand out to me:
God never intended for His children to live in bondage.
Not bondage to fear.
Not bondage to shame.
Not bondage to anxiety, temptation, or the lies of the enemy.
He calls us to freedom.
Not because life will always be easy…
But because Jesus has already won the victory.
Sometimes we think freedom means we'll never struggle again.
But that's not what Scripture teaches.
Freedom isn't the absence of battles.
Freedom is knowing Who fights with us.
It's waking up each day and choosing to believe God's truth over our feelings.
It's remembering that our identity isn't found in our failures, but in Christ.
One of my favorite verses is John 8:36:
"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
What a beautiful promise.
Jesus didn't come to make us a little better.
He came to make us free.
Free from guilt.
Free from condemnation.
Free from the chains that once held us captive.
Living in freedom isn't something we do once.
It's something we choose every day.
Every morning we choose:
Those choices may seem small.
But over time, they become a way of life.
Throughout this series we've talked about:
None of these are meant to become another checklist.
They are simply invitations to draw closer to Jesus.
Because the closer we walk with Him...
The more freedom we experience.
If there's one thing I hope you take away from this series, it's this:
God isn't waiting for you to become perfect before He loves you.
He's walking beside you as He transforms you.
One step.
One prayer.
One surrendered heart at a time.
Take a quiet moment today and ask yourself:
Friend, whatever you're facing today...
Remember whose you are.
You are loved.
You are forgiven.
You are chosen.
You are never alone.
And because of Jesus...
You are free.
Not someday.
Today.
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free..." — Galatians 5:1 (KJV)
Thank you for walking through this series with me. My prayer is that these words have pointed you back to God's Word, encouraged your heart, and reminded you that no matter what battle you're facing, Christ is faithful.
May you continue to walk in His truth, His peace, and the freedom only He can give.
With love,
Sara Mix
